- A site needs TN3270 emulation to access an IBM system through dumb VTxxx
- terminals. The IBM system can be accessed using TCP/IP software on the VAX,
- but due to the number of VTxxx terminals already installed, it would be
- desirable to some software, on the VAX, emulate the TN3270 terminal and
- display the output on a VTxxx terminal.
-
- Basically a "$ TELNET/TERMINAL=TN3270" sortof setup. There are some TCP/IP
- packages for PCs which do this -- hoping there's something for the VAX.
-
- Anyone know of such a beast (DEC's SNA-3270 requires too much hardware)?
