- I posted this question acouple of months ago and I'm hoping that some other
- reader might be able to help me...
- I want to know how to create a syntetic UserID, what I mean by this is a
- command which would make it appear AS IF my user ID was "Scott" instead of
- "SW4847". I know this is possible because some of the students at my school
- have done it but they are unwilling to give up their secret... They insist
- that is does not require any special privs to do this.
- If anyone has any Ideas I would greatly appreciate them (because SW4847 is
- kind of impersonal), if you E-mail them I'll sumerise and post them here.
- Thanks
