  12. I posted this question acouple of months ago and I'm hoping that some other
  13. reader might be able to help me... 
  14. I want to know how to create a syntetic UserID, what I mean by this is a
  15. command which would make it appear  AS IF my user ID was "Scott" instead of
  16. "SW4847". I know this is possible because some of the students at my school
  17. have done it but they are unwilling to give up their secret... They insist 
  18. that is does not require any special privs to do this.
  19. If anyone has any Ideas I would greatly appreciate them (because SW4847 is 
  20. kind of impersonal), if you E-mail them I'll sumerise and post them here.
