- Weeee! $CREPRC documentation changes! I have three questions concerning this:
-
- 1. If one doesn't use the prompting feature (by setting PRC$M_NOPASSWORD
- in the stsflg argument), is there any way to use $CREPRC to create a
- process running some other CLI besides DCL?
-
- 2. If the answer to question 1 is Yes, will this method be documented
- and supported?
-
- 3. The latest System Services Reference manual I have (the BookReader
- documentation from the November 1991 CDROM distribution for VMS 5.5)
- stills gives a list of stsflg flags (including PRC$M_NOPASSWORD BTW)
- that it says "... are intended for use by DIGITAL software. Complete
- documentation of the possible ramifications of their use is not
- provided." Is this going to change? Obviously the answer to this
- may affect the answer to my first two questions.
-
- Just wondering, 'cuz it's always nice to know about new features, even if
- they're really old ones!
