  16. At one point, I was seeing this message frequently on a uVAX II with an
  17. Emulex disk controller connected to a Fuji Super-Eagle disk. The problem
  18. was solved by field service replacing the disk controller or the cable
  19. to the disk (I'm sorry, I can't remember which).

  21. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it. And I have absolutely
  22. no understanding of what was actually happening. However, I would now
  23. believe that it could be a memory problem; no more outragous than it
  24. being caused by a disk cable.
