- My memory may be going on me, but let's see, now:
-
- I send in the materials for the Windows upgrade rebate. I know they
- got that. They sent it back because I forgot to include the title
- page from my Windows manual. Eventually, I got the check. This I
- remember for certain.
-
- It seems like there was a separate card for registering the software.
- My memory says I sent it in, BUT... I haven't received a Coupon Book
- or any other mailing, so maybe I didn't. Here I am at home, now, and
- I've found a card entitled "Registration Card for OS/2 Support,"
- amongst all the fool pamphlets in the distribution. Hmmm... could
- me poor memory be slipping? Is this the card I thought I sent in?
- Or did I register my posession of a copy of OS/2 with another card
- and fail to look for a separate card to register for OS/2 support?
-
- If so, that's a bit wackers in my experience. I don't remember
- seeing this card before, but then, this collection of odd papers and
- pamphlets did not hold my attention -- I should have inspected it
- more closely, but it was so inconvenient and disorderly I set it
- aside disgustedly. My mistake, but dammit, they could have done
- better! In any case, this registration card is evidently the one I
- need to send in, yes?
