  13. I have OS/2 installed with the SP with 32 bit trident drivers
  14. and everything is running excellent.. except every time I
  15. shut down, all my icons (folders, program objects, whatnot)
  16. disappear (er.. except for a couple that is) ! Now this is
  17. not critically annoying yet because I leave my machine on
  18. almost 24 hours a day. However, I do boot up with DOS every
  19. now and then for a game of Star Control II (the beeper
  20. speaker squeaks even when sounds are turned off via DOS
  21. settings. Odd thing that.) I tried a whole bunch of things
  22. including restoring the previous desktop, etc.. but to no avail.

  24. Also, if I happen to delete an object, the next time I restart
  25. OS/2, the object STAYS deleted. If I'm not careful, I'll end
  26. up with nothing but a nice powder blue screen and a black
  27. pointer one of these days.
