- Just before this thread dies I thought I'd put in my 2 cents (about 1.5c US :-)
- Whether or not you can run IDE and ESDI drives together in the same machine at
- the same time depends upon the ESDI controller used! I used to have a 200M
- IDE and a 760M ESDI drive (UltraStor 12f controller) in the PC I am typing this
- on. The UltraStor board allowed the use of both kinds of drive as long as the
- IDE was drive 1 and the ESDI was drive 2. A Western Digital 1007WAH ESDI
- controller board I also had would NOT allow IDE coexistence however.

- As for the question of about running OS/2 on such a system, the answer is yes
- (hey, I did it! :-) Hope this helps somebody somewhere, or I just wasted some
- bandwidth :-)
