  13.     I just bought a NEC CDR-84 CD-ROM and an Adaptec 1542B adapter. This
  14. configuration appeared to be the consensus in this group about what was
  15. good for OS/2.
  16.     I'm new to SCSI. The CDROM will be my only SCSI device for the moment.
  17. As I understand it the adapter must be terminated (by leaving in the
  18. terminator resistors), and the CDROM drive must be terminated also. How do
  19. I terminate the drive ?  The drive doc's say nothing about termination,
  20. except to say that if you've installed the drive terminated and it doesn't
  21. work re-install it unterminated and vice versa. Do I have to go out and buy
  22. a SCSI terminator ?  Any help would be appreciated.
