- I just bought a NEC CDR-84 CD-ROM and an Adaptec 1542B adapter. This
- configuration appeared to be the consensus in this group about what was
- good for OS/2.
- I'm new to SCSI. The CDROM will be my only SCSI device for the moment.
- As I understand it the adapter must be terminated (by leaving in the
- terminator resistors), and the CDROM drive must be terminated also. How do
- I terminate the drive ? The drive doc's say nothing about termination,
- except to say that if you've installed the drive terminated and it doesn't
- work re-install it unterminated and vice versa. Do I have to go out and buy
- a SCSI terminator ? Any help would be appreciated.
