- Although Win NT sounds like a really great OS (and so does OS/2), I don't
- think it will be what many home users want. From the people with betas
- that I've talked to, they tell me that NT is a server based application
- and the hardware requirements will be quite high. Furthermore, it will
- not run all the applications that run on Windows 3.1. If you're a die-hard
- windows fan, you may be better off waiting for future releases of Windows
- which will have a subset of NT's capabilities. I think it's called Win32s
- (or something like that). OS/2 doesn't seem all that demanding compared to
- NT, so users may want to consider that when choosing to migrate from the
- bastardized DOS.
