  11. I have long had minor annoyances printing in postscript mode on my 
  12. Okidata OL830.  I suspected it was the printer driver.  I just recently
  13. had time to install the OS/2 beta and Win-Os2 3.1 off the PDK.  The 
  14. Win-Os2 3.1 beta had a specific driver for the OL830, and this driver
  15. works flawlessly as far as I can tell.

  17. This makes me think even more that my trouble with OS/2 GA + SP is the 
  18. driver.

  20. The annoyances have been slow printing, printscreens either take, literally,
  21. tens of minutes to print, or get dropped altogether.  In EPM 5.51 selecting
  22. print in draft mode sends data to the printer (the data light comes on,)
  23. then after 20 seconds the job disappears with nothing printed.  In the 
  24. WorkFrame, if I select the option to print one of the logs, the same thing
  25. happens.  The data light comes on then after a while it goes out, with
  26. nothing printed.

  28. If I switch the printer to HP emulation and use the HP II driver none of 
  29. these problems occur.  Now in Win-Os2 3.1 I don't seem to have any prob-
  30. lems in postscript mode.

  32. Which is a round about way of asking if others with the OL830 have problems
  33. in postscript mode, and if not, what drivers are you using?  I have tried
  34. both the Apple Laserwriter II and the generic postscript.
