- I am having exactly the same problem. I believe the problem lies with
- the CPU BIOS not the video bios. I got SVGA ON to work with my home
- system and have SVGA ON consistently fail with my work system. Both
- are using ATI XL 1 meg cards. Thinking that the problem was different
- verions of the same card I swapped the cards, put my work ATI in my
- home machine and my Home ATI in my work machine. SVGA ON still does not
- work on my work machine. I have opened a problem with IBM support
- to see if they have any insites.
