  21. Before installing OS/2 2.0.

  23.     step 1.  Run ATI's install program and set the monitor type
  24.          as VGA/PS2
  25.  
  26.     step 2.  Install OS/2. 
  27.  
  28.     step 3.  Intercept OS/2's final boot up, and run ATI's 
  29.          install program and set the monitor type back
  30.          to your real monitor type. Reboot.

  32. OS/2 2.0 will install for 8514/a
