- I recently got my hands on a background bitmap that I really like (the
- Enterprise NCC-1701D firing its phasers at a Windows 3.1 logo, hee
- hee!), and I decided to replace my boring old gray desktop with it. The
- text labels of my icons didn't stand out very well, so I decided to
- change it, using the Scheme Palette editor.
-
- Changing the text for regular icons was no problem -- I just selected
- Icon Text and picked a new color. But I've been unable to change the
- color of the text labels on my shadow icons! I select Icon Text, pick a
- new color, and drag the scheme icon to the desktop . . . and nothing
- happens. I can't figure out why it doesn't work.
-
- Has anyone else had this problem? Am I missing something obvious? Or
- are there cloaked Romulans hiding in my bitmap and jamming my signals?
- Help!
