  10. I recently got my hands on a background bitmap that I really like (the
  11. Enterprise NCC-1701D firing its phasers at a Windows 3.1 logo, hee
  12. hee!), and I decided to replace my boring old gray desktop with it.  The
  13. text labels of my icons didn't stand out very well, so I decided to
  14. change it, using the Scheme Palette editor.

  16. Changing the text for regular icons was no problem -- I just selected
  17. Icon Text and picked a new color.  But I've been unable to change the
  18. color of the text labels on my shadow icons!  I select Icon Text, pick a
  19. new color, and drag the scheme icon to the desktop . . . and nothing
  20. happens.  I can't figure out why it doesn't work.

  22. Has anyone else had this problem?  Am I missing something obvious?  Or
  23. are there cloaked Romulans hiding in my bitmap and jamming my signals?
