  10. I have installed 2.1 beta and noticed a couple of things.

  12. 1) Irwin tape support w/4100c controller now appears to work properly.
  13.    It was broken with GA+SP and some previous versions of beta.

  15. 2) I am getting random system hangs when running certain utilities. Yesterday
  16.    when using Info-Zip 5.0 (32-bit version) to unzip a large archive, the
  17.    system hung and I had to reset to reboot. The mouse was still responsive
  18.    but I could not change the focus to another window or bring up the
  19.    task list with <cntl>esc. I waited several minutes to see if anything
  20.    would happen - it didn't. This has also happened with the gnu mv utility.

  22.    Anybody else seen this? Any ideas?
