- I mentioned the order because it sounded like the original poster had the ifs
- for cdrom earlier in the file than hpfs. As a result, the cd error got posted
- to the screen, a key had to be pressed, and he then had to wait for chkdsk.
- In this case order is important (and it certainly isn't the only case). I
- agree that config.sys gets processed to extract certain lines first (BASEDEVs
- are among the first things processed). Note IFS = lines seem to load in order
- with DEVICE = lines.
