  26. The Trident drivers work very well for me (a little slow maybe but at
  27. least I have GOOD 800x600 and 1024x768 256 color drives now!!!).  I've
  28. got an OEM version of the ATI VGAWonder XL (with 1Mb on board) Perhaps
  29. that's your problem. I recall someone here mentioning that these trident
  30. drivers were only for cards with 1 Mb; do you have 1 Mb or 512K?

  32. Also, do you have the 'revised edition'? The file I got from hobbes
  33. was called TRI32NEW.ZIP and the instructions in the readme file had
  34. been revised by someone (Steve someone-or-other I think; sorry whoever
  35. you are, but I'm horrible with names).

  37. Short of that, I don't know what the problem might be.  Sorry I can't
  38. be of any more help.
