- Just an anecdote to share with you folks. In the dark days before
- OS/2 2.0 I was running dos/windows on a 20MHz 386 and enjoyed a
- game called "Life & Death II - The Brain". Upon upgrading to a
- 33MHz 486 the game refused to run, crashing with a floating point
- exception. Oh well, to the shelf with it. On an impulse this last
- weekend, I tried it under OS/2 2.0 + SP and it ran! Ok, there are
- new things to learn to make these dos games run well under OS/2, but
- this is the first I have heard of it fixing a problem like this!
- I was rather impressed! Now back to our regularly scheduled [sic]
- programming.
