- Yep, and there's a bug in the 640x480 drivers as well. Sometimes,
- colors get munged up a bit. For example:
-
- 1) In the WLO-ported version of Solitare, the heart- and diamond-suit
- cards are displayed as white symbols on a black card back.
- 2) In Excel 3.0 (for OS/2), some cursors are improperly colored, and
- performing a numeric operation on a range of cells will cause the
- colors to change (only on-screen, minimizing and restoring Excel
- draws them correctly)
-
- After these two problems, I switched back to the IBM VGA drivers.
-
- I also got the "screen-wrap" bug when using the 800x600 driver. And
- it remained even after replacing BVHSVGA.DLL, VSVGA.SYS, and a few
- other replaced DLL's with the original ones. I had no choice but to
- remove the entire driver. Too bad - I'm getting sick of only 16
- colors!

-
- Joel's driver seems to work fine here as well, but I can't stand not
- being able to see the background of sliders, notebooks, etc.
