- This sounds like one that was common in the early days of PC's.
- Everyone advised against using single-sided media in double-sided
- drives because "the back side isn't tested". This is a load of hooey,
- since some single-sided drives used the top surface, and others used
- the bottom surface - requiring the vendors to test both sides anyway!
