- I jsut talked to someone at OAK Technologies, and he said (I think
- his name is 'Bidon' or somesuch) that they _are_ working on
- OS/2 2.0 Presentation Manager drivers. He said they ought to be out next month
-
-
- Then again, those smae drivers were supposed to be due 4 mos. ago. :-(
-
- While I was talking to him, he said that some *new* Windows drivers
- were released last summer. The drivers from 67_win31.zip I got from
- ftp.cica.indiana.edu are all old, it would seem. In addition, he said
- I needed an INSTALL.EXE file of some kind to install new WIndows drivers,
- which the 67_win31.zip file did *not* have. Does anyone know where I
- can get this? I'd rathe rnot spend 45min. downloading from their BBS...
-
- Here is some OAK info, in case you want/need it:
-
- Oak Technologies: Ph#: (408) 737-0888
- Fax#: (408) 737-3838
- BBS#: (408) 373-0728
- ^^^
- |-- this is what he told me, but
- doesn't it look like it ought to
- be '737' as well?
-
- The BSS, he said, needs 8bits, no parity. He said I answers at 2400bps.
- He suggested the download would take ~45min.
-
- I hope this answers some people's questions,
