- I'm thinking about buying OS/2. I have a 170MB hard disk with a
- 70MB primary DOS partition (DRDOS6) and a 40MB extended. The remaining
- 60MB is free.
-
- Can I install OS/2 in the remaining partition and allow it to run
- my existing DOS/Windows software, or would I have to "start again"
- on a clean hard disk?
-
- I have a 33MHz 386SX with 4MB RAM. I notice that 4MB is the minimum
- RAM allowed - will it *really* be unusable with just 4MB? (To upgrade
- to 8MB I'd have to junk the 1MB SIMMS and buy two 4MB ones :-( ).
-
- I'd be very grateful for any information.
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
- Mike
