  12. Hi os2er's, I have a major problem with OS/2 2.1 beta. I think the
  13. problem is not with the beta it self. First this is my config:
  14.     
  15.     386DX/40 8Mb RAM, Tseng + VGA monitor
  16.     120Mb: 41Mb Linux, 74Mb OS/2 HPFS
  17.  
  18. Last night I installed Linux on my 41Mb ex-FAT. When I start OS/2 (via
  19. boot manager), I got the error "cannot find D:\OS2\COUNTRY.SYS" and
  20. the system stops. Then I check with fdisk and the OS/2 partition is
  21. now on C:\.  Then after renaming D:\ to C:\ in config.sys I reboot
  22. again, OS/2 starts (mouse cursor appears) and than after a beep I got
  23. error:

  25.     The WorkPlace desktop could not be located. The user INI file
  26.     or hardfile may be corrupt - refer to the README.....
  27.
