- If you have something on the clipboard, you can paste it into an icon.
- Simply select 'Paste' from the Edit menu of the Icon Editor. Images
- will be scaled if need be. Also make sure that the icon you are editing
- supports 256 colors. Check the Device list of the Icon Editor.

- As for getting a bitmap onto the clipboard, there are several ways. One
- way would be to use the image as a background in an empty folder, then
- use a screen capture program (like PMCAP) to place the image on the clipboard
- then edit or cut that.
