- OK, evryone, it's time for me to ask this question:
-
- How can I make my newly acquired (someone just gave it to me) a
- Fujitsu DX2200 dot-matrix printer to work for OS/2?
-
- The symptom seems to be the same: OS/2 spooler simply cannot write to
- the printer. However, the same thing worked for DOS normally.
-
- It might be a cable problem, or it it may due to incorrect printer
- type installed. I'm not sure.
-
- When I installed OS/2, I setup the default printer as HP LJ 2, although
- I don't have one. I did not add another printer icon on the desktop,
- but just added printer driver for Epson Dot-matrix printer ( I cannot
- find a Fujitsu entry in the choice list of printer drivers) within the
- settings of the HP LJ 2 icon.
-
- If I print a pure text file, the generic driver says that the printer
- doesn't respond. If I change to the Epson driver, it says "Error 4: Can't
- write to the printer".
-
- Oh, the IBMNULL driver is working now. Since the guy who gave me the
- printer could no longer find the manual for the printer, what I want to
- ask becomes: what is the compatible driver for the printer?
