  15.   After changing the icon for an object in the 2.1 beta. I decided to delete the "find results *.*" icon and folder that find had made. The folder contained about 30-40 icons and i usually am able to delete them with no difficulty. So I just threw it in the shredder and clicked delete for the folder deletion dialog.

  17.   WHAMM.. the system started crawling. It went so that it took almost 15 seconds or so just to get a mouse click recognized. So I let it run to see what was happenning. nothing. No disk accesses other than when I tried to shell. it wasn't even touching the contents of the folder so I shut down.

  19.    When it came back up the folder was unchanged and I was able to delete the icons bye selecting them with the mouse and then droping them into the shredder. Then I deleted the folder.
