- I've run in to several problems with deskpic, none of which cripples it
- but which all make it less attractive. I am running OS/2 v2.0 X02000.
-
- When I open deskpic it tries to appear as only a title bar, but actually
- ends up with the current wps image as a window. I can move this window off
- to the edge of my real wps. When deskpic is activated for the first time
- this wps image window disappears. This phantom wps image window happens each
- time I open the deskpic window.
-
- I can't seem to get deskpic to start minimized. I have this selected in the
- settings but it still opens with the title bar and wps image window. For
- awhile I had this working properly (I don't know how) but when I moved
- deskpic to a different folder it broke again. Actually I have the same
- problem with pulse, can't get it to start minimized, in spite of the
- settings.
-
- If I have a comm program open, but not necessarily dialed in anywhere,
- deskpic only blanks the mouse pointer. When I type a key or use the mouse
- deskpic then flashes its screen saver image for a second before the wps
- returns.
-
- When deskpic deactivates my pulse monitor jumps its entire reading from
- almost idle to 50%. I mean not just the current reading but also the several
- seconds gone by. As if when it realises I am watching it decides to pretend
- it has been working all that time.
-
- Has anyone else observed these problems? Comments? These and the fact that
- it won't activate for full-screen sessions are all that stand between
- deskpic and "greatness".
