- Maybe we should just give this up guys. This is clearly an ideological
- argument, and Mr. Helzerman is clearly never going to acknowledge the
- existence of any kind of force other than physical.

- Actually I think that Mr. Helzerman is conflating the idea of force
- with the idea of irresistible force. In other words, since it is
- physically possible to ignore emotional or financial blackmail, then
- these things cannot be counted as "force", however painful (mentally)
- the consequences may be for you.

- This definition of force is certainly not the common usage, but Mr.
- Helzerman is insisting on it because, well, it's convenient for the
- rest of his argument. This is typical of ideological arguments.
