Matt, unfortunately I find this to be the case no matter what question you
may ask the sales-idiot at any given store. If you don't go in having done
all your research, you hear a bunch of lies, misinformation, lack of
knowledge and/or plain stupidity. Sometimes the sales-idiot gets it right,
but usually it's because they guessed right, not because they knew.

Of course, once in awhile, a store actually hires a technologically
knowledgable individual that can hold his or her own in discussing the
capabilities and compatabilities of any given piece of hardware.
