  13. I am in need of a reference which compares OS/2 and UNIX.  I chose 
  14. to go with a UNIX workstation for development of a graphics 
  15. application and need to justify myself.  My main reason for choosing 
  16. UNIX was its virtual memory capability (as I will be graphing heaps and
  17. heaps of time series data) which I did not believe was possible in mid 
  18. '91 with OS/2.  There is also the issue of disks speeds and memory
  19. of PCs vs graphics workstations.
