  20. Hmmmm... why not use a RAM disk if you have RAM to spare? Size
  21. limitations might be one problem, but I have heard of someone 
  22. using Stacker on a RAMdisk and getting incredible speed increases
  23. with Corel Draw. Stacker does 2 things to your RAM disk. First,
  24. since temp files and metafiles are highly compressible you get
  25. a large increase in available space (he reported 12:1 compression
  26. ratios). Second, you trade CPU cycles with throughput over the 
  27. RAM bus (this helps greatly with a fast CPU and a real hard drive,
  28. don't know if it helps with a RAM disk).
