- Hi,
- I have a generic 2400 baud modem card in my PC that I have been happily
- using for about a year now, with Telix 3.1, setup as Com4. Unfortunately
- however, when I run Telix in Windows 3.1 it crashes, and I have yet to
- find a Windows comms program that will recognise the virtual com4 on which
- I have set my modem. Apart from the modem, I only have an IDE/IO card and
- my ET4000 video card in expansion slots. Does anyone have any idea what the
- problem is, and how I can either get Telix to run with a PIF file, or better
- still, is there a good shareware or PD comms program available and how do I
- get it to recognise my modem.
-
- Cheers,
- Lee.
