  12. Has anyone experienced any problems using DTR control with serial printers
  13. in Windows 3.1 .. The setup we have is as follows ;
  14.  
  15.             * Apple LaserWriter ( running as a HP )
  16.  
  17.             * Standard PC Comm port config as Com 1
  18.  
  19. Pinouts of our serial cable are ;
  20.  
  21.         2 & 3 Crossed
  22.         4 & 5 crossed
  23.         6 & 20 crossed
  24.         7 straight through
  25.  
  26. This cable works fine under DOS, when trying to print through windows how-
  27. ever, windows responds with "printer not ready - retry or cancel"
  28.  
  29. And Windows has been configured for hardware handshaking, so there should be
  30. no reason why it works under dos and not windows. Does anyone know if there
  31. is a bug with relation to this setup, and if so, is there a bug patch? 
  32. Or, have we left something out of our cable ??
