  12. Does anyone know of or have access to a MS-Windows 3.x printer driver
  13. which can be used to print plain ASCII text to a disk file for
  14. purposes of transmitting the files via email and/or other electronic
  15. media?  The printer should strip all print attributes (bold,
  16. underline, italics, super- and subscripting, etc.) so as not to garble
  17. the textfile.  Unfortunately, the "Generic/Text Only" printer driver
  18. supplied with Windows 3.1 attempts to implement some of the attributes
  19. the best ways that it can.  For example, if Windows text is bold, then
  20. the Generic printer driver overprints it three times by issuing a
  21. carriage return without a line feed.  While this is nice when using a
  22. printer, it really messes up a textfile saved to disk.

  24. If you know where or how I can obtain such a "vanilla" printer driver
