- Actually, one of the authors in the January PC WORLD or PC COMPUTING
- magazine tested the "direct printing to port" and reported it to be
- slower, in most cases. You might want to read this issue as it has
- some tips on speeding up printing. I can't remember which of the
- two magazines it was in, but I know it was the January issue.
