  17. Actually, one of the authors in the January PC WORLD or PC COMPUTING
  18. magazine tested the "direct printing to port" and reported it to be
  19. slower, in most cases.  You might want to read this issue as it has
  20. some tips on speeding up printing.  I can't remember which of the
  21. two magazines it was in, but I know it was the January issue.
