- Hello All,
-
- I have installed both NT (Oct.) and OS/2 (2.1 Beta) installed on the same
- hard drive ( using the Boot Manager to switch between them ). NT is on the
- C: (FAT) and OS/2 is on the D: (HPFS). Both systems run fine when booted (
- thanks to the trick of zeroing out the BM id). The problem is that NT, after
- booting does not recognize the d:, Disk Manager says unknown file system.
- And if I try to go to the d: at a prompt I get a message that d: does not
- exist. The funny thing is that while booting, as NT goes through its various
- messages looks at the d: and says "File type is HPFS" and "Volume is clean".
- Under OS/2 the c: is totally visible.
-
- Is this a problem with my system or is this a side effect of trying to run
- NT and OS/2 on the same drive? I would appreciate it if anyone could give me
- some insight into this problem.
- Thanks,
- Jim
