- Hello all,
- I've completed an apparently successful installation of the
- October92 Windows NT system, but although the included applets run fine,
- invoking any DOS or Win 3.1 application causes the following error window to
- pop-up:
- ntvdm.exe - application error
- The instruction at "0x60615974" referenced memory
- at "0x00000000". The memory could not be written.
- The same problem occurs if I try to start WOWEXEC. The value
- of the first address changes but the second remains the same.
- The hardware specifics are:
- Zenith Z-386 SX ( 16 Mhz), 8 meg ram.
- 3com Etherlink II /16 netowrk board.
- WD 212 meg IDE hard drive
- Plus Hardcard 105XL
- Exverex Evercom 2400 modem.
- I've tried the WNT002.zip fix on CI$, but it didn't help...
- Anybody have any ideas out there ???? Thanks!
