  11. I'm having a problem making changes to the registry on my machine.
  12. I can log in as administrator and use regedit to make changes, but
  13. when I reboot all the changes are gone.  I've tried to change
  14. permissions, add & delete keys, add and delete values -- nothing
  15. seems to persist across reboots.

  17. This is on a Dell System 425E with 12MB RAM, running the October
  18. Beta release.  It is extremely slow running NT, but I see no
  19. reason for the problems I'm having.  I have no problems doing
  20. all the above operations on my other machine, a Compaq 486/50L.
