- Well, yes and no. The original Star 10X was somewhat compatible
- with Epson... but not enough that it could use Epson graphics drivers.
- One problem was the vertical increment on the Star was 1/144 versus
- 1/216 on the Epson.

- Later models of the 10X greatly improved the emulation; a switch
- was added to select "IBM mode" or "Star mode", the IBM mode being
- Epson compatible. The models that have the mode switch are usually
- called 'SG10', the models without the mode switch 'Star Gemini 10X'.
- The models changed around 1984-85.
