- I'm going a little out on a limb here, so please understand. I had some
- similar problems when I first started playing with wallpaper bmps, and
- finally came to the conclusion that the bmp wallpaper format is not the
- same as that for Paint. What I do, is if I see a gif that I want to
- incorporate as wallpaper, is to use WinGIF 1.4 to view the file, resize it,
- etc, then save it in .bmp format. Windows will then recognize it as a
- wallpaper bmp and tile it, center it, what have you.
