  13. I recall a thread recently which discussed the "Licensed User" string
  14. which Winword Setup stores in encrypted form on the distribution disk,
  15. and how to make Winword Setup prompt for a name again. Unfortunately I
  16. did not save this information.

  18. A friend of mine is now trying to sell his copy of Winword, and the
  19. potential buyer is bothered by the "wrong" name on the startup screen.
  20. Assurances that this would not be a problem as long as he has the
  21. original disks and my friend doesn't retain copies don't seem to
  22. satisfy him, he wants to get his name in that spot.
