- Just to make it clear, I for one do *not* expect Minix or the compiler
- to be free - and for what it's worth again, $995 for the ACK kit seems
- cheap. But I am not a university or a company, I'd like to have continued
- working on Minix, and the last compiler upgrade (separate I&D) cost ~$70.
- (And was well worth it, again). A x3 price rise seemed excessive, given
- what was being sold - if you want to be commercial, you play by the
- commercial rules, and sell software that works and the support to go
- with it.
