- On a separate subject, there had been a lot of complaining about the ACK
- ANSI compiler here of late. It is as though people expected it to be free
- software. It is commercial software, as I have said many times here, and
- is part of the Amsterdam Compiler Kit, which sells for $995, and has sold a
- fair number at that price (mostly to universities and companies).
