- Hi everybody! I am a satisfied Linux user. I just installed SLS X
- series to get X running on my PC. I spent all night to get X up and
- running without any success. As mentioned in the SLS.FAQ at tsx-11,
- I tried to bring X in mono mode up but I was not able to bring X up.
- It gave me a error message saying that there is not enough memory
- I do have 8 megs memory. I tired all the different settings but it
- always gave me the same result. If anybody has been able to bring X
- up, either in mono or color mode on the following configuration,
- I would really appreciate if you can mail me the entries in Xconfig
- or any other changes that I am supposed to make. I am using the SLS
- distribution. My configuration is:
-
- Dell 486P/50 PC
- Dell UltraScan 14C monitor
- WD90C30-31 video card
-
- Any help would be greatly appreciated.
-
- Thanks in advance.
