- CMU's Andrew System ( not the AFS) is a great multimedia System under X11.
- There is a multimedia editor called 'ez', which you can put
- text(variable fonts), pictures, animation, sound and math formulas, etc in a
- single file. It also has libraries to help programmers write their own system.
- It would be a great job to port such system to Linux.
- (including Sound Blaster card support, if possible)
-
- Is anyone doing this great job ? I don't have enough disk space to do it.
- For those insterested in Andrew Sys, you can get it from anonymous ftp
