  13.    CMU's Andrew System ( not the AFS) is a great multimedia System under X11.
  14. There is a multimedia editor called 'ez', which you can put
  15. text(variable fonts), pictures, animation, sound and math formulas, etc in a
  16. single file.  It also has libraries to help programmers write their own system.
  17. It would be a great job to port such system to Linux.
  18. (including Sound Blaster card support, if possible)
