  31. I can sympathize, but not offer a solution.  You see the problem is that
  32. there are interactions.  For example, the libc.4.2 upgrade caused some 
  33. binaries to break.

  35. Also practical considerations prevent two distributions (one being disk space).

  37. However, if some other ftp sites wish to refrain from following an SLS upgrade
  38. until say at least a month or so, you might get most of what you ask.  
  39. However, NO version of SLS has everything working perfectly.  That is only
  40. a goal, not a reality (yet??).
