  14. Please help!

  16. I am in the process of loading linux on my PC and I have ran into a
  17. bit of a snag.  I installed the base system and the install script
  18. created a boot disk.
  19. Now when the system boots from the new disk the screen goes
  20. blank?  The install boot disk works fine and I was able to see 
  21. that the files seemed to get transfered OK.
  22. I did some reading in the news here and found a problem like mine
  23. The response said the video was changing to SVGA and the rdev -v
  24. call was designed to prevent the switch.  I tried it with no change.

  26. Please give me some hints.  I am excited about linux and would like
  27. to get it running.

  29. My configuration is a 386SX 20M with 4M RAM and a standard
  30. paradise VGA.
