- I was trying the same thing a couple of weeks ago. Depending on what
- version of Linux you have, you may have to recompile the kernel to turn
- TCP/IP on. If your kernel has TCP/IP, it will say something about
- AF_INET sockets when you reboot.

- The next thing is you must get the 0.8.1 version of config. ("Go to
- Rizzo's ftp site. Ask for louie.")

- Another non-obvious feature is that telnet doesn't work. You can't
- telnet to your mud. This is just more incentive to get tinyfugue
- working.

- There is a Linux NET FAQ that actually explains all of this pretty
- well,
- especially if you read it over and over.

- One thing I'd like to see in the NET FAQ is a description of how to set
- up the software for a local-only configuration with no ethernet card.
- This must be a fairly common first step.
