  12. Here are my symptoms:

  15. Ok finanlly I played with the FAQ and tcpip.  Still I have nothing going.
  16. I am running .99-2 with the tcpip option and no network card.  i

  18. I try to telnet to  myself and I get:
  19. Trying...
  20. telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Network is unreachable
  21.  
  22. If I simply type "telnet" and try to display the operating paramters
  23. I dump core.

  25. I created/edited the files the FAQ mentioned and also ran the install.net
  26. script.  I have the files that were specified in /etc and softlinks from
  27. them to /usr/etc/inet just in case.  I have the following files in 
  28. etc,/usr/etc/inet:

  43. The talk/talkd, telnet/telnetd were sources I must have grabbed a month
  44. back.

  46. One more thing, when I try to talk to myself on another tty I get:

  50. I really don't know where to go from here, I followed the faq word for word
  51. twice.
