  25.   The kernel from the DDK (Release 68) seems to have the busmastering
  26.   quirk fixed.
  27.   The floppy problems are gone at least, i.e. the drives' heads are no
  28.   longer banged against the spindle at end of volume.
  29.   The massive character loss due to disruption of tty-I/O actions
  30.   still exists.
  31.   The ADAPTEC driver does still not provide 'globals' that might be 
  32.   patched to site specific values, although it was nuts to do so.
