  24. I downloaded uusecure.tar.Z, but the uucico executable (which I assume
  25. is the only thing that would relate to this problem) is identical to the
  26. one already on my system.  (BTW, 'cmp' is missing from my system.  Is it
  27. not on the distribution?)  I can't *get* Taylor; uucp won't run long
  28. enough.

  30. However, I have a couple of experiments left to try.  One is moving uucp
  31. et al. to a RAM drive to see if getting the Adaptec driver out of the
  32. way makes a difference.
